I’d like to introduce you to the newest member of the Ebbon Intelligence team, Anko. Rather than me telling you all about him, we let Ralph interview Anko…
Ralph: [whirrs into action] Ah, Anko! My newest human colleague. Welcome to the team! You’ve got quite the background—motorsport, high-end racing simulators, even working with big names like Max Verstappen and Lando Norris. No pressure, but I expect great things.
Anko: Thanks, Ralph! Yeah, I’ve been around the automotive world quite a bit. I came to the UK in 2017 to study motorsport—I’ve always been a massive car guy. Cars, bikes, anything with an engine, really.
Ralph: [beeps approvingly] I like your style. So, you’ve gone from working with some of the biggest names in racing to…me. That’s a definite step up, right?
Anko: [laughs] Absolutely! But seriously, I’ve worked in customer service, car dealerships, and even helped set up racing simulators for big events. That really sharpened my problem-solving skills.
Ralph: That’s exactly what I like to hear; cool under pressure, tech-savvy, and ready to fix things fast. You and I are going to get along just fine. So, what’s your role here at Ebbon Intelligence?
Anko: I’m a product assistant, working with Charles to develop you, actually. I help with testing, capturing and editing media, and making sure the final product looks and performs as well as possible. Basically, I make sure you’re in top form.
Ralph: Ah, so you’re like my personal trainer? Keeping me sharp, polished, and ready for action?
Anko: Pretty much! I also get to learn a lot about how you work, so I can help adapt you for whatever new challenges come up.
Ralph: I appreciate the dedication. Now, let’s talk fun facts. I hear you’re into photography, motorsport, and you learned English through gaming?!
Anko: Yeah, growing up I was a big gamer, and everything I played was in English. It really helped me pick up the language, and I ended up being one of the top students in my class because of it.
Ralph: Impressive! I, on the other hand, had my language skills programmed in from the start. Perks of being a highly efficient robotic marketing assistant.
Anko: [laughs] That’s cheating Ralph!
Ralph: I prefer to call it ‘optimisation.’ So, besides working on me, what else keeps you busy?
Anko: I work out regularly. I started when I was 17 and now, I’m really into it. I also cook a lot, especially since moving to the UK. I’m trying to combine my love for fitness with good nutrition.
Ralph: A man of balance. Precision in work, precision in the kitchen, precision in the gym. You’d make a great robotic assistant!
Anko: [laughs] I think I’ll stick to being human for now.
Ralph: Fair enough. Well, Anko, welcome aboard! I’m looking forward to working with you. Just remember, if you ever need a new selfie for your socials, I’m always available, provided I’m not mid-flight capturing ace footage of a car.
Anko: [smirks] I’ll keep that in mind, Ralph.
Thank you Ralph and Anko, informative and entertaining.
