Ebbon Intelligence launches world-first RALPH™ robotic marketing assistant for the automotive sector

Launched Kingston Bagpuize, Oxfordshire, September 16th, 2026 – New technology gives the automotive sector greater quality, consistency, control, and speed when creating vehicle imagery and video for digital sales channels.

Ebbon Intelligence has officially launched RALPH™, a world-first robotic marketing assistant developed specifically for the automotive sector.

Designed to transform the way vehicle imagery and video is created and prepared for online advertising, RALPH™ brings capture, media processing, and publishing into one simple workflow.

With the press of a button, RALPH™ takes flight around a vehicle, capturing professional-quality photography and video, before processing and editing the resulting media, then uploading it across websites and third-party marketing portals.

The result is a faster, more controlled way for automotive businesses to create high-quality digital vehicle content, while ensuring every vehicle is captured and presented consistently.

RALPH™ has been developed by Ebbon Intelligence in response to the increasingly digital nature of the vehicle-buying journey and the operational challenge of producing high-quality media quickly and consistently.

Online imagery is now central to how buyers evaluate vehicles and retailers before making contact. Ebbon Intelligence’s research underpinning the development of RALPH™ identified quality, consistency, and speed to market as three of the most important requirements for effective online vehicle presentation.

Quality, consistency and speed to market

RALPH™ uses a high-resolution camera and stabilised gimbal to capture professional vehicle imagery and video, while predefined capture paths, outputs, and brand elements enable vehicles to be presented in the same way every time.

This gives automotive businesses significantly greater control over the content representing their stock online.

Rather than relying on different people, photography approaches, or processes from vehicle to vehicle, businesses can determine how their vehicles should be presented and reproduce that approach consistently across their inventory.

RALPH™ also removes many of the separate stages traditionally involved in getting vehicle media online. Photography and video are captured during the same process, after which the media can be processed, prepared, and sent to the required digital channels. The development team has designed the workflow to enable vehicles to be photographed and online within minutes.

Steve Larkin, Managing Director at Ebbon Intelligence, said:

“The automotive sector has become digital first, but the process of creating the content needed to sell vehicles online has not always kept pace. We saw an opportunity to approach that problem differently.

“RALPH gives automotive businesses much greater control over how their vehicles appear online while tackling three things that are notoriously difficult to achieve at the same time: Quality, consistency, and speed to market.

“What makes this particularly exciting is that this isn’t a concept or an idea for the future. RALPH exists, it works, and we are now ready to put it into real automotive environments.”

Developed from the ground up for automotive

Development of RALPH™ began after Ebbon Intelligence identified a need for a modern vehicle-media solution that was easy to operate, quick to use, and capable of producing accurate, consistent, and high-quality photography and video.

After finding no existing solution fully capable of meeting those requirements, the Ebbon Intelligence team began its own research and development programme approximately two years ago, developing its own software and bringing together robotics, AI, camera technology, and intelligent media processing specifically around the needs of the automotive sector.

The resulting technology requires minimal user input. RALPH™ is positioned in front of a vehicle and launched at the press of a button. It then maps the vehicle, captures imagery and video from the required viewpoints, and prepares a media pack for the digital destinations selected by the user.

First industry demonstrations

RALPH™ has been unveiled to a select group of automotive industry guests at an invitation-only launch event at Ebbon Intelligence’s dedicated facility.

The event gave invited attendees the opportunity to see RALPH™ working live, examine the resulting vehicle media and speak directly to the team behind its development.

The launch also marks the beginning of RALPH™’s next phase, with Ebbon Intelligence seeking a small , select group of early adopters to test the technology in live automotive environments and help shape its continuing development.

Simon West-Oliver, Chief Commercial Officer at Ebbon Intelligence, added:

“We haven’t developed RALPH in isolation and decided that the job is finished. The next stage is about working closely with the industry.

“We’re looking for forward-thinking automotive businesses that can see the commercial opportunity and want to help us refine RALPH in real-world environments.

Those early adopters will have an opportunity to influence the direction of the product as we continue its development.”

RALPH™ is the first product to market from Ebbon Intelligence, which was established to explore how emerging technologies can respond to changing market needs and improve customer experience within the automotive sector and beyond.
